    Default Picked up a H/K 240 today

Got a good deal on it as well as a Monster HTS 3500 MKII Power Center. I've been trying to find a "recent" H/K for quite a while and finally can say I have one. First impressions are quite good too. It's definitely a better unit than my Yamaha RX-V563. Its a great feeling knowing that I can add some amps in the chain later, something the 563couldn't offer me.

I didn't have a huge need for the Power Center, but I think I might keep it. Doesn't seem like a bad little unit and I love the analog meter on the front.

I bought a used HK 340 a couple of weeks ago. I went from a Yamaha RX-V630 and the difference is remarkable. The Yamaha was a good receiver but just way too bright. The HK is much easier on the ears.

I'm a fan of the H/K's. I think you'll like it. Those darn pre-outs are nice, but they'll cost you $$$$

I have the HTS 3500 in my H/T and I've been happy with it. Just bought at 2500 here on the forum but haven't gotten it hooked up yet. If you decide to part ways with the 3500, let me know.
