Default Best way to hoiok up Atrium Garden system

    Hi Forum people,

I just got a killer deal on the Atrium Garden system with the sat30's and a sub10.

What would be the best way to hook these up? bi-amp? or what?

I have an old adcom reciever and numerous amps so I am pretty flexible as to what I can do.

Does it make sense to run the LFE out to one of my adcom amps to this sub then the sattelites to another adcom amp and to the mains on the pre-amp?

any help would be greatly appreciated....

    1 Adcom GTP-830
    1 Adcom GFA5200
    4 Adcom GFA-545II

    2 Polk atrium sat 30's
    1 Polk Atrium Sub 10

    thanks in advance!

I dont really have any recommendations but am interested in the best way to hook it up as well. i am planning on adding some outdoor speakers at my new house and was interested in these. The regular atriums are good but the added sub would be nice as well.
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

    Hello,
I would imagine one approach would be to use two of the GFA545 to biamp the system. The Polk owner's manual describes this method of connecting. The sats and woofer all have built-in high and low pass filters so no external filtering is needed. That should be a good sounding out-of-doors system.

Will do. I am going to see about putting the sub under the stairs from my deck to patio, and the speakers off the eaves of the house. Should be pretty sweet.

Ok, so I got the system in and bi amped it as above. It sounds great. So much so that I am adding an additional set of sat 30's on my lower patio.

One question I have is what is the ohm load with just the sats plugged in, vs having the sats plugged into the sub?

I want to maximize power output here.

I'll have piks in a day or so.
