I don't have one Mike, but I was looking real hard at the Aquabot Turbo. My pool is relatively small, I still manually vacuum it.

I had one, but I can't remember the brand. due to the way the jets were it made a pattern and missed big spots on the bottom.

For above ground pools...the Pool Rover, I've had mine for about 7yrs & I wouldn't want to be without it. It simply works & works extremely well. For in-ground pools...the Aquabot as Steven mentioned. Both excellent products!

I have a hayward navigator in a small ~12,000 gallon pool. When working correctly it is fantastic. I've looked into some other types of cleaners, but have been told that they aren't as good at covering the entire pool. I don't know if that is true or not. I also haven't looked into robotic cleaners at all. As long as I keep fairly fresh parts on the navigator it works well.

I've had a Hayward pool vac (looks like the navigator), and I now have a Barracuda G3.

I liked the Hayward, but it ate parts like crazy, to the tune of 75-150 bucks a year. It has parts that you will replace every year or two. All I've done to the Barracuda in the three or four yrs we've had it was replace the one moving part (diaphram) a few times, and it's 30-35 bucks.

I think the Hayward does the job in less time than the Barracuda, but I'm willing to let the Barracuda run longer, knowing I won't have to spend near as much to replace it's parts.

We had an AquaDroid for a long time. It worked well enough. I don't even think they are around anymore. I never liked how any of them did really and usually just ended up doing it myself.

My pool came with a ladybug looking thing that did ok on the bottom of the pool but was unable to climb. My pool is a 27' round.

It is just better to do it yourself.

I've had a couple of PoolVac's (now Navigator). First one I ran continuously except when swimming, and went through many feet and side flappers, but it did a great job; finally when many of the hose links leaked after several years I bought another one. Now I just put it in once a week for a day and have had no problems. The unit covers the whole pool with a non-repetitive random motion.

I did try going back to manually sweeping for a while, but really liked the PoolVac automation and care free cleaning; but then I love technology and have a Mint Robot mopping my floors too (NorthStar controlled, never misses a spot).
