Gaskets for MW6XXX

I deal with several industrial rubber suppliers for various items in my work and i was talking with one this week and gave him rough specs of a MW gasket.He can die cut these for us from several different materials and durometers.I have him sending me a few samples of the foam rubber he has to see what may match up.
I am looking to see if there is an interest in these.
They would not have the screw holes in them but a simple paper punch would remedy that in my opinion.
Anyway, it is a quantity sensitive deal.For instance 100 pcs would be about $1.50 each and 500 pcs down to about $1.23 and so on.
What was quoted was 1/16" thick x 5.70" ID x 6.375" OD.
Let me know if this is something we would want to follow up on please.
I have a couple more companies i deal with i may call next week as well.
The real cost is in the tooling of $75.00.Otherwise these would really be cheap.
Thoughts?

Let's tackle the MW's and if it works out and there is enough interest i am sure he can do the tweeter gaskets as well.
If we don't have enough interest it won't be cost effective.

is this something you would do for yourself or are you going to try selling gaskets online?
I just think that tooling charge will take forever to pay itself back .

This is not a profit venture.If we have enough folks interested we buy them and split the cost equally.Just looking for an alternative to mortite and window seal as much as we all may love it.

I'm interested in 25-50 as I don't believe that anything but a soft seal is needed after installing Larry's rings.

I'd be in for 40. Don't really need that many off the bat, but even at $1.50 each they'd be inexpensive.

Now we're rolling.I have the sample coming to see what is closest to what we need.I'll let this run for probably a week longer and then total up what we can buy and what they will cost.
I expect to get an approval drawing which i would post as well before signing off on it.

I'm in. I've only got a pair of RTA-12'c at the moment, but I'd take a dozen just to have some extra's for whatever else might come into my possesion.

If these fly i am going to send sample of the tweeter gasket and dimensions on the others and see if we cant get a solid source for well fitting 1/16 foam gaskets and get away from door seals!

They will work wit any MW65XX if all goes as planned.

I received a sample of the material and it should work perfectly.I am sending a sample of the best gasket i can find to see what they will charge to have the holes punched at the same time they make them.
We'll see if it is worth it for them to do the holes also.
Either way final pricing should be in place by end of next week and final count taken for an order.
