Question need help.. what do some of these golf terms mean?

I don't play golf or know what a good score would be.

    but,

I am doing a 9-hole pub crawl tonight.. and each one of the 9 bars is a hole..

so what would be a good "hole" so to speak?

for instance a beer might be a par or something like that (i don't know golf term meanings)
a shot of 151 liquor might be a Eagle or hold in one??

the stronger the drink the better your score is.. keep that in mind.. how do I win this?

each golf hole will have a "par" rating, meaning they will post what the standard score for that hole is. A long hole (long in yards, like 525 yards) will be a Par 5, they are allowing you 2 hits to get it close to the green, another shot to get it on the green, and then they allow for 2 putts. A little shorter hole say 415 yards long is a par 4, allowing one long shot, and short shot to get it on the green and them the 2 putts again. A short hole like 170 yards is likely a par 3, a long shot directly on the green and 2 putts.

If you use 5 shot (including your putts) to get it in a par 5 hole, you made par.
If you use 4 shots to get it in the hole on a par 5 hole you made a birdie, 1 under par
If you use 3 shots to get it in the hole on a par 5 hole you made an eagle, 2 under par
If you use 2 shots to get it in the hole on a par 5 hole you made a double eagle, 3 under par

going the other way, if you hit the balls 6 times on a par 5 you bogie, and if you need 7 shots to get it in the hole on a par 5 you get a double bogie.

Sounds like you get a beer for a par, shot for a birdie hell ya fun times

How do you win? By having a designated driver and planning on getting completely smashed! Enjoy sounds like a fun game.
