    Thumbs up KK Bacon Cheeseburger....

Alright, I think I've just committed suicide...

I saw this on Man VS. Food last night, and had to make it my Friday night meal. I'll say this about it, best burger I've had in a long time! KK glazed donut, cheese, bacon and good hamburger (does that sound right??). I used the gas grill on this run, I find it much easier to control, I can't tell you how good this monstrosity was, wow. Here you go...

So, 40 minutes later.........you are still alive?

Interesting combo, to say the least.

Definitely looks interesting. I think your salad and corn look awesome though. Burgers look good too, just not sure about the added KK for a bun.

That actually sounds and looks tasty. It would probably kill me since my pancreas has been living an easy life lately on a low carb diet (no bread, no grains, no sugar, tons of veggies and moderate fruits) but I would be willing to try. Maybe add some advocados.

The real question is where are you at that they still sell KK donuts? They spring up super quick around here and than they all closed.
If life had more tubes it would be a lot smoother.

Not to derail the OP's thread, but Krispy Kreme makes the best fat pills ever. Military jargon for the Marines, doughnut = fat pill. HAHAHA love it.

I would give it a try however all the kk's around here did not last long, I wonder if a Dunkin Doughnut glazed will work?

Probably not. DD's glazed doughnuts are mostly air with no actual substance and a KK has some weight to it.

Reverse that... DD's glazed are far denser than KK.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I agree with ZB. Eating a Krispy Kreme feels like just eating a sugar ball. A DD donut feels like eating a fat ball. Huge difference.

I'd say that most of your run of the mill grocery store brand cake doughnuts would work well for this. Just make sure its fully glazed, not just the top half, and enjoy!

There was a great episode of The Boondocks where granddad opened a soul food restaurant and that burger was the star dish. He called it the Luther and said that Luther Vandross invented it. That version had a full pound of burger, though. Hilarious show. The episode is entitled "The Itis", which is a southern word for food coma.

I have had one of these and boy are they good. Another good one to try is to use two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a hamburger bun.

That is because it is called The Luther Burger...
