Well I am going to install BP's on my speaker wire and I want to make sure they fit.
I thought all Banana plugs were basically the same diameter.
I get the impression that some plugs are harder to work with than others.
I can either get plugs here on the net or go to RS and get some.
Any I should avoid?
I'm not even going to ask what amp your using but all bananas are the same .. 4mm right ?
some tend to be more tight or snuck than others.. that's why my favoriate are the locking kind.. you can loosen or tighten to your satisfaction

Don't forget to mention on some Yamaha AVR's that their binding posts are spaced closer than the normal. You'll never_ get those dual banana plugs to go in.(Unless you buy the special sized ones).
Pay better attention. It's not the banana plugs, it's the cheap a$$ binding posts.

Banana plugs vary between manufacturer and the standard is loose. Avoid dual plug style and if you buy a decent brand you shouldn't have any problems but that's not a perfect statement. Locking ones are a good choice and better quality than the RS brand.

I like the idea of locking ones, know where I can get them? All for a wunderful price.
In memory of Lawrence Welk.
I have the Nakamichi Plugs I bought from eBay and they're great. They have screws so they're not loose at all. I bought plugs from Monoprice first and I hated them. I never could get them tightened down to my satisfaction. I have a Yamaha receiver and the Nakamichis fit perfectly.
GLS makes a decent one that won't break the bank.

I'm cheap so I spread the plugs with a small screwdriver to make them fit better. Locking type plugs and/or binding posts work best if you have the $$s
