    Default Speaker

I saw a pair of vintage Polk Rt800 Floor standing in CL for $350. pair. Does anyone know if these are the same as the Rti8 or Rtia5? The spec's seems to be the same.I've been looking at replacing the m70 with RT fronts. I have a desent sub so a7 or a9 might be bass overkill. Thank you in advance for your help.

    pre-RTi8

for $350 i think you can do better than RT800(i)....Rti8 can be had around $300 plus it will match prefectly with the Center that you already have....

They are a decent speaker but should be under $200. While they are the same basic set-up as the RTi8 and RTi A5s, the RTi8 and RTi A5s include a number of changes including a different tweeter. Since you already have the CSi A6, I would hold out for a used pair of RTi8s which be a better match for your CSi A6. You should be able to find them used for around $300.

$350?? Way over priced imo. I passed on a pair for $75 a while back. Hopefully Scotty snagged them.
