Emotiva UMC-1's on Sale for $499 shipped!

Guys, this is a heck of a deal. While the UMC-1 had its teething pains, its a very capable unit and Emo is closing them out to make room for a 3-D capable version.

I have no affiliation with Emo at all, other than having been a customer. Oh, and my ATI 2007 amp woulld pair with one for a killer system. :-)

Besides, I found it kinda weird that an email I got from Emotiva regarding their clearence sale, stated "UMC-1 b-stock $499." SO, does that mean the clearence one are b-stock or what????? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

good luck. That unit was already supposed to be lunched as well as it was said now to be pushed back farther. I don't think its supposed to lunch now until next year.

When I called to cancel my order, the sales dept. said it was definetly coming out at the end of the year before xmas. Hence it makes sense theyre clearing out the umc's.

I was going too get the UMC-1..But H/K3600 going for under 500.I need the pre-amp outs for all channels..

Seems like it took them a very long time to get it right, and some say it still isn't up to snuff. I'll pass, thanks.

..Thats what i been reading about it..UMC-1..so i will pass on it too..and on top of it all it is going for 499..but no returns..the ad says all sale final..some people are saying its a hit or miss with that one..most are saying that you even have to send it in for firmware updates .The H/K3600 looks real good at 483.00..

..They have a 30 day money back...but for this close out sale..it does say all sales final on this unit..guessing maybe B stock? or maybe no replacement?..with the new units coming out...They are having firmware issue's with this unit..so i am thinking if one was to buy this unit and it had a firmware issue with it and just wanted there money back because an exact unit new out the box would not be available?..hence ..all sales final..thats why i passed on this one..
