Default What is the going price for pair of CRS+

I have started looking really hard for a pair of CRS+ in excellent condition. What should I expect to pay for a pair that have no mods done to them? Thanks.

With or without stands? With stands, up to 350-450, without, knock off 100-150.

I would pay $150 to $250 depending on condition. The factory stands would be a huge plus and may push me to $300 for a minty pair with stands. Pin/Blade is what you want.

    Thanks guys.

I'm guessing the reason the pin/blade is better is because they are the ones that can be TL-ed? Or are there other reasons?

Is the finish on the CRS+ models made of real wood or are they covered with vinyl like the monitor 10s I have?

Here it is. Was thinking of these for myself, but have no way to get them.

Looks like a fair price and includes the stands.

I've found that most are. I happen to have a pair of keepers that are real oak.

I am offering my pristine pair of CRS+ in the FM for a reasonable price, and those are indeed walnut vinyl. However, they seem to be a more cherry-red than those that we had...

I'd buy another pair if I found somebody selling a pair that has been completely redone. I don't have the time or desire to do them myself. I'd rather just shell out the cash :)

I look forward to getting them. I'm worried about how the guys in the big brown truck are going to treat them. I guess that's what insurance is for.
