what guage wire to run from the amp to the cross over for jbl 5.25"? Also, is the wire that comes in the kit good for the speaker to cross over connection or do i need a thicker wire? Peace.

jbl 5 1/4's - so what kinda power are u running? like 75 watts?

assuming a normal length for a front speaker install 18 gauge is fine... 16 if you want to be picky about it.

i'd use the same wire from amp to xover and from xover to speakers...

so if it comes w/ 18 and u're running 75 or less -- fine... if its over 75 -- go w/ 16

believe it or not - radio shack 16 gauge is fine.... its not as many strands as high quality stuff, but i've been running like 200+ watts per channel to my fronts through 16 gauge radio shack wire without any problems.
