    Default TV Tuner for Projector?

I just purchased a projector and my questions is; do they make a tv tuner separate from these?

I have a cable outlet and the I used to have it was the cable wire going to directly to my TV. Do they make a TV tuner that will take the cable wire in and output to lets say, HDMI or component?

I'd love to watch football games on the projector but don't have a DVR for an HDMI or component connection.

    Thanks,
    ~Dan

You will have to use your cable, sat box into a receiver. There is no tuner to use with these projectors. Display out only.

If you don't mind me asking, how would this tv tuner hookup then? I have my projector going to my reciever (HDMI) and everything (DVD player/Xbox) is going to my receiver (HMDI).

Would this just plug into my reciever? Keeping only one cable going to the projector from the reciever?

    Appreciate the help guys.

Yes this would just hook up to the receiver via hdmi with one cord to the receiver.

Amazon has it for $90 http://www.amazon.com/Kworld-HDmi-Ex.../ref=pd_cp_e_2
