I almost exclusively use the quick reply function. I love having it as a FIRST option. IMO

The Advanced option is just as fast as Quick Reply, but it provides more options. Before I knew of the Advanced I would quote a post in order to have all the options, and then delete the quote. There really is no advantage to even having Quick Reply.

One point I should clarify is that with the old format the primary thing I wanted from the Advanced option that wasn't in the Quick Reply option was the smilely icons. With the new format, the icons are in the Quick Reply section, so I will rarely need the Advanced options. Still, so far, I don't understand why two settings are really needed. I suspect some people just don't like the clutter of all the options, which is a pretty good reason.

Buh? Quick reply pops up right below the post you're replying to without reloading a whole new page. The "advanced" reply brings you to a whole new page. The first is much faster and simpler (and, as mentioned, has more options than ever before, with smileys and a formatting bar, the only real thing youc an't change is the post header smiley thing)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    Patrick or Nick,

Curious about the new post notifications that were present on the previous layout (For those unfamiliar with what I'm referring too, it's the small paper icons that graced the top left corner of a post and was yellow if it was unread and stayed yellow until it was read at which time it would turn white).

This was great for posts that you may have not seen but didn't have enough time to fully browse the site, you could still revert back to where you left off cause you never read that thread with any new information. I'm wondering if this will be restored or is it gone for good?

Thanks guys! Keep up the seller work.

Patrick - when I logon to the CP forum on my Acer A500 tablet I now get a blank screen after it loads. It was previously working fine. I've tried deleting my bookmark, going to the forum with my browser, etc. Not sure if there's been a change that's impacting it or it's something with my tablet/OS that I need to change. Thanks!

    Enhancement request.

Please make the "Quick Reply" text box larger than 6 lines. After 6 lines the vertical scroll bar is necessary to review what was typed. Since the size of the text box is not resource constrained, please make it at least 15 lines, if not more.

Thanks. Darn, now all 6 lines are now in use.

Oops, now I have to scroll back to see what I typed. Oh, the agony, the pain, the inhumanity, and it is completely unnecessary simply by making a bigger text box.

Happy New Year, and thanks for all that has been done.

I wonder if there is a way to enable a toggle function in the System Showcase to arrange by alphabetical? Right now it's like that elusive page in a magazine that you can never find again lol. Trying to find a specific users system is often difficult.

    Thanks,1C

How about a warning indicator when your PM's are just about full?

    And upping the capacity?
