Default Hitachi HT20-S TT for free

Been wanting to get back into vinyl. After my brother-in-law "supposedly" lost my old Mitsu LT table a few years back. I was given this one last night by my wife's boss. He has a few other pieces laying around that he is not using, that I'd like to get my hands on. I know it is nothing special at all, but it works and it was free.

Congrats. That "freebie" will be your downfall. It's a dangerous path you are about to follow. Go ahead and sell everything you have so you will have money to "invest". See you on the other side.

Nice halo71! It's not that bad of an arm, you should look into upgrading the stylus on the cart. It's probably a slide in upgrade, so you won't have to mess with the settings. Start making room for lots of 'new' Lps, have fun. Does he have a cassette deck?
    Huh? Wot?? Dig it

Where can I get me some??

Yes he does but its a cheap looking Kenwood. He has a pair of big Altec's out in the garage. A pretty old Realistic tuner and a fairly new Onkyo AVR. All not being used.

I still have a few cassettes somewhere. Have you ever seen Metallica's 'Jump In The Fire' cassette? I think its pretty rare.

I'm not too familiar with Metallica, but it looks like the clear one is the rarest and selling for around $15 on da bay. I'm from the old school 'if you have a TT, you need a cassette deck too', get some nice type II TDK and Maxell's cheap on ebay and start recording from Lps.

Big Altec's eh?? Intriguing if they say Model 14, 15 or heavens to betsy 19 on them sell your soul fast!! Grovel, beg, offer your first born child....J/K!
