Default Crown DC300A and Crown IC150A

The over 50 crowd should like these, nothing more to say. I liked how they looked on my bench and thought I'd share.Name: polk c 007.jpg

More recording studios used that pair for playback during the day than you would ever know.....nice stuff.

oy, been wonderin' what you were up to lately! :-)

The "A" version of the IC-150 is supposed to be better than the original, unsuffixed one :-)
The DC-300/DC-300A and its lower-powered kin are all fairly respectable power amps.

    all the best,
    mrh

I'm still having fun mhardy, I thought you would like this pair if not for sound, for the old school feel good.

The 300 is a lot of pounds per watt, I see why they're still going strong.

The Crown stuff was absolutely bulletproof.
I would love to snag one of their "prosumer" reel to reel decks; no one (not even Ampex) made anything quite like them.

let's see if this photo is hot-linkable. If not, here's the original thread from AK:

"Oh no they say he has to go, go go Godzilla" That deck makes me think of watching movies on a black&white in 66. Very cool!

    Nice stuff!

I remember my Dad's cousin having these and thinking they were way cool when I was very young.

Solid Made in the USA products. Makes you wonder if the Chinese amps being made today will still be working in 30 years.
