    Default Opinion on DSW660wi

I've heard some issues with remote and amp issues with DSW 660/550.....I am wondering if this is isolated issues or widespread since I am contemplating if I should pull the trigger to grap the DSW66wi one? Has anyone heard or had any thoughts on this? Should I wait and see?

also, my family room is 18x18 with open floor plan to the kitchen area. which one I should go 550 or 660?

    Thanks for your help.

I havent had any problems with my DSW Pro 550WI or 660WI. I would get the biggest one you can. If you wait until next weekend new egg might have them on sale for a pretty good price.

They are on sale now over there. I am concerned about folks complaining remote/IR doesn't work or useless from other forums that I came across, that's all. However, I love Polk speakers.

I have herd a couple guys complaining about it but I havent experianced it. I am really not to worred about it because once it is set i just leave it alone. I am not constanly turning the volume up and down. Polk has a 5 year warrenty on the speaker and 3 on the amplifer. They have great customer service so if somthing would happen I wouldn't be to worried becuase it would be taken care of.

I would have to agree with jbooker that the remote shouldnt really be used that much once its setup to the right settings/volume. If you did have a problem Polk CS is A1 and would fix the problem. As far as which sub to choose get the biggest one(660) and dont look back.
