Default Boston Acoustics A40 Series II

    More from my personal collection........

Small bookshelves. These sport a .75" tweet and a 6.5" driver. Classic acoustic suspension design. This is the speaker that put Boston Acoustics on the map.

Overall, they are in great shape. The rear corners on each cabinet were damaged when they were shipped to me. Nothing major, IMO. The grill on one has a small pin hole, again, nothing major. Operationally, they are flawless.

I need to clear out some space and these are seeing zero usage and I'd rather see some one use and appreciate them.....I'm thinking 50 plus shipping.

If you are interested shoot me an email at: troy.dion@charleston.af.mil

I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP

Careful about UPS. Their brokerage fees can be pretty outrageous. You may want to ask them for a breakdown before you ship.

Troy have you got any pics of this speaker? I have the VR-M series of Boston speakers and have heard of the A40's but never seen or actually heard them. I may be very interested in getting these from you.

Here is my original review of them. They are about the size of an RT35i give or take. Nice little two way speaker. I really like them, I just have a glut of gear and I'm trying to free up some space and some equity.

If you purchase them and aren't completely satisfied, ship them back to me and I'll refund your money less shipping.

Troy I am going to pass. For some reason I was thinking they had a cherry finish that would match the VR-M series in my second system. Thanks for posting the links and pics though.

Well, they are less ganked up than those freakin' B&W's that YOU sent me. I couldn't have, in good conscience, taken someones money for those things.
