    Default History Channel now showing...

Vietnam in HD. Very interesting and at the same time a little hard to watch as it can be gory.
We need to support All our veterans. It's quite a story.

I saw a reference to this yesterday on CNN.com, then set my DVR. Looking forward to watching these.

That's what happens when you fight a guerrilla war using conventional tactics.

Some of us don't need to watch it, WE lived it!

truly unimagineable for me....i have 2 cousins who were there..one did 2 (!) tours as an mp...the other spent his tour in one of those infamous huey copters..one of them said, the snakes dropping from trees was not fun...beyond that, they don't mention vietnam...amazing what the hell they saw and might think about

I truly hope your cousins came home safe and sound and are doing well, BTW Most Vietnam vets don't talk about it, not something they like to remember.

very interesting show and I'm going to have to catch it. My hunter safety teacher was in the war and was a friend of the family. He would tell us stories of things they did but was bothered if someone asked him specifics on things. He would generalize a lot and we know he saw some crazy things.

Even WWII vets and everything. Its just amazing what people have lived thru and a lot of respect should go their way for what they did.
