Default New 2 ch. system, need speakers

    Hi!

Finally I?m putting together a 2 ch system. Nothing fancy. I already bought a NAD C316bee integrated and already have a NAD C515bee CD player. I?m selling my polks TSi300 and TSi100 in order to get better speakers.

My top budget will be 600 dollars. And I?m restricted to buying online, since there are not so many distributors here in Mexico. I have listened to some of the options but would like your opinion. I know this is very subjective but need opinions. I mostly listen to rock, jazz, blues, folk. I?ll use the speakers without sub (maybe get one later, but not so soon).

These are my options: I don?t have any particular restriction about using a tower or a bookshelf.

    Paradigm Titan Monitor.
    PSB G design GB1
    Wharfedale diamond 10.2
    Wharfedale EVO2-20
    Wharfedale EVO2-20

Other options could be focal 705, Polk LSi7 or maybe 9.

I?d love to get a pair of Totems but its a bit difficult since they only have b&m dealers.

Any other suggestions on this price range. I really want to buy new.

    Many thanks!

I would take a hard look at the Lsi 9's being sold by Polk on ebay. They are currently going for $550.

Polk HT system 2: ,Polk CS1000 center, Polk cs400rear center, Polk RT800 mains stacked with RT55's, Polk F/X 1000 rears running on a Yamaha RX-V2200

LSi9's will not be at there best with that Integrated. It runs 40watts nominal with 100watts dynamic power which isn't bad at all but LSi9's like juice and lots of it.

I know you would prefer new but you could get a ton more speaker if you went used.

Like these Quad 11-L2's for $525 on the gon.

If I were you, I would be looking at the KEF iQ30 as well. Fantastically resolving and efficient. They will work well with your integrated. Not to mention theyre a beautiful design
design is where science and art break even.

There are some good deals on Audiogon. I?ve never buy from the gon, has anyone experienced any issues? I like these Monitor Audio RX1 http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls....dio-silver-rx1

I had the chance to listen to some Monitor paired with a Rotel Integrated and really liked the sound specially the imaging.

The Swan 2.1SE's would be a nice match. Jon Lane, the proprietor of The Audio Insider is a good guy.

    Many thanks!!

I?m now debating between the swans, quad and the Monitor RX1. I?ll give a listen to the monitor with the only dealer in my town! Fortunately they have the same amplifier and CD player I have!

Ant to complement there are a pair of stands at Audio advisor, sand fillable! for only 49 use
