Default Question regarding Monitor 70 hookup (newbie to wiring/setup)

Hello folks - I have a noob question. I just got my first non-HTIB setup with Monitor 70s, a CS2 and an Onkyo receiver. Just going with those for now until I get surrounds at a later time.

My question is, I noticed the Monitor 70s have 4 binding posts on each speaker, not 2 like I'm used to. Am I supposed to be using all 4 posts or just the top two for now and the other two later, if I b-amp or whatever. Don't be cruel, if you feel it's a dumb/obvious question.

The back of the speaker has a brass plate connecting the two pairs of posts, leave those on, connect your speaker wire to either the top or bottom set of posts and your done. Don't even mess with bi-amping from a receiver, waste of time and money.

I hope its OK to piggyback on enforcer2133's question but I'm a noob too and this post is the closes I've found searching the forum to my possibly noob question. I'm receiving a pair of Monitor 70s later today and I was wondering if I could use an Onkyo HT-R380 and a TX-8255 to bi-amp these speakers? What are the chances of running them parallel (if this is possible)? Maybe its just a bad idea. In the words of someone wiser than me ... "Don't be cruel, if you feel it's a dumb/obvious question."

Don't use two receivers. Use one.

You can try - it's all part of the learning process, but the gain on the two receivers is different. When you bi-amp you want to use two dedicated amplifiers, not receivers.

You can try biamping if you are curious, but do not attempt to put the two receivers in parallel.

Not even if it takes very little of either...
