Unfortunately...every time I hear great, old Cat Stevens music, all I hear is Yusef Asscrack !

I wonder if his old songs are compatible with Islam? If not, he knows what he should do.

Thanks Danny. I recently picked up the new SACD of Tea for the Tillerman, which is excellent and I'm looking forward to grabbing these as well.

Dang, some people need to get over a guy's music in his early years & what he's become in his latter. If we all chucked the music that was played or written by people who's ideology we disagreed with, we'd have little music left.

LOVE ME SOME CAT! Ok, so Yusef not so much.

I never had to get over it but still won't buy a single copy of anything that unfortunately gets mastered of his....heck that goes for a lot of old 70's "types" that get far too much press than they're worth.

What's great about it all is that I simply move onto the next artist in the discography countdown. He just didn't change my life or music overall enough to even care. Cat Stevens who?
