    Default Polk Surround speaker dilemna

    Hi everyone,
Currently I'm running an Onkyo 494 receiever, Polk RT35i mains, a Polk CS245i center, a Yamaha 8" powered sub, and for surrounds I'm using two Audiosource two ways(1" tweeter 4" midrange). I just got into DVD-A and SACD and I'd noticed one of my surrounds was distorting at times. I think I cleared up the problem but I'm still thinking about going to some Polks for surrounds that will match up well with the other Polks in my system.
My system is in a medium sized bedroom so I don't need anything crazy and I'm also on a bit of a budget so I'm thinking my best options would be either the R20s or the Atrium 45s as they're both available for under $170 which is about the most I could spend right now.
Anyone have any opinions on either of these? Bear in mind, I'll be using them for SACD/DVD-A as well as movies so highs and mids are my main concern(my sub can handle the lows for these formats no problem). I've read that the Atriums are matched to the RTi series so between that and the easier mounting, I'm leaning towards those despite the higher price 120 for the R20s at Crutchfield vs 149 for the Atriums. Can anyone comment or suggest something else that will work well given my small budget? Thanks for any input.

CG, as you already pointed out, the Atrium 45s are supposed to be timber matched to the RTi series, while the R series is not, so I'd go with the 45s as the obvious choice. I have a pair mounted on the wall in the bathroom.

Thanks for the advice. That's the way I was leaning I'll go with those unless I can find a great deal on something in the RTi series.

Read the description carefully....but having noted that, this could be a good option. Auction goes off in 3 hrs. Seller has perfect feedback going back 2 1/2 years. I would strongly consider this if you are ready to buy (and you trust e-bay).

I got the Atrium 45s from Crutchfield this afternoon. I'm really impressed with them. I played some DVD-A and SACDs this afternoon and the surrounds sounded much more natural and the panning between front and rear speakers was much smoother. Plus they were extremely easy to wallmount. For $150 these are nice little speakers. Thanks for the help all!
