    Default Ice or D3?

My Harman Kardon receiver has an issue, and not too sure what the cost will be to repair it. I have been in love with the SC37 for quite some time. The Ice amp brain wash here in the forums doesn't help getting to the point. interested in the sc37, 55, or 57. hoping some owners of these could chime in. is the extra dough worth it for the 55 or 57? how does the ice amps compare to the new D3 amps? reading lots of reviews, seems people like the ice technology better. thanks and looking forward to the input to help my decision.

Despite the fancy names they are both class D amps, it is just that Pioneer decided to design their own version and improve some aspects. I have the 57 and have had no issue but chances are the 37 will be cheaper and have most of the same features.

If you Google, there is a full review on the new one.

I save the coin and go with the 37. The 37 is still future proof with 3D as well, so you're still good there. Save the coin and buy yourself an Oppo or some BD movies.

There is no future proof. Who knows whats next. Save your money and get the 37.
