A while back I was amused/intrigued while reading this thread over at the Steve Hoffman website, so I preordered a couple copies: One for me, and one for the winner of this karma.
The CD in question is newly remastered by Mr. Hoffman, and was subsequently pressed onto a CD featuring no less than 24K gold. It's a "limited edition" release. Limited to how many? That appears to be a secret, but I'm guessing there's at least 2,643 copies, because that's the number on the disc up for karma.
I'm not sure this qualifies as "great music," but it brings back a time and a place for me. Supposedly the best sounding CD of the album, so how can you go wrong? A simple "In" will suffice, and I'll figure out some way to pick a random winner on Saturday next (2/25).
