    Default SDA CRS+ Score 2 pair $125

I just bought 2 pair of SDA CRS+ the single tweeter ones for $125 thanks to some encouragement by F1nut. This guy had a pair posted for $75 when I got there he had 2 pair 3 were in good shape the forth a leftie has 3 of the plastic plugs broken off and some finish peelage on the left rear corner, can I get those plastic plugs somewhere.
The only other problem no interconnects and they are pin blade where can I find those I heard Polk has blade blade available these sounded nice hooked up to a Marantaz 2245 Iam pretty excited and will figure out how to post picks this weekens. will these sound nice hooked up to a Yamaha AVR 120 wpc or a Onkyo TX38? or what should I be looking for to power these one Pair or two pair at a time?

    Congrats!

For the time being you can use a single piece of wire and connect the two pins of the pin/blade connectors. In normal mode with a common ground amp the SDA effect only needs the pins connected.

Lasereth I'am sorry to sound naive, but do you mean a single strand of speaker wire connected to the pin part of the hookup on the back of each speaker and nothing to the blade part?

Yes, twirl one end of the stripped wire and insert it into the pin hole.

Use one piece for both speakers.

Forget about the blade connection for now. you don't need it unless you have Mono amps and then you'll need an AI-1 cable.

Dang, two pair for $125? Wow, that's REALLY neat. Where did you get them? I'd be lucky to find ONE pair for that price...

    Oh yes, congrats!

A guy that owns a storage space facility had them one of his customers had not paid his storage fee for a while, he said he has not been able to get a hold of the guy for quite some time, so as it stated in his contract he could sell the belogings due to default on the rent, if I had more money I could of went crazy the guy was a Dj or something there was a couple of Technics 1200
's and a bang and olfsun TT, the guy had good prices on everything. I really did not plan on buying 2 pair if I ever decide to part with one of them I will remember you.

My 1.2tl's came from a storage space. I bought them on eBay from one of these guys that goes to storage space auctions. This guy paid like $1200 for the storage space and the eBay auction for my speakers sold for $1186 so he made out pretty well.

Too bad with that Pin/Blade cable. You weren't quick enough :(

They came up for sale here every once in a while. I just bought one a week ago from somebody else.

You got an excellent deal, congrats!

Parts Express sells the plastic pins for the grill cover. They are not exactly the same, but should work well enough.

    sorry gudnoyez.

It's fairly easy to add some nice binding posts. I used the Cardas posts from Sonicraft on my 2B's and the Daytons from parts express on my CRS+'s. Here's what they look like on mine. (blackberry camera sucks)

Tell Her that we won't let you get that bad. If you get up to 400 pairs of speakers we'll come by way before the hoarders camera crew to help her thin out your inventory!

The pin in the center of a male RCA plug will fit the SDAs round pin hole, just remove the "skirt" around the outside to allow a more pleasurable penetration, solder em up with some 16-14ga. wire and yer in bidness.
No matter how lost you are.......music can bring you home. (there are a few exceptions, however)
