    Default Grill cover pins

I'm more then likely gonna cannibalize a pair of Monitor 4.5's that I don't really need and are in rough shape. They are missing the grill covers but the plastic connecting pins are intact. I would really like to repurpose them to one of my 7C's that is missing 2 of them.

What would be the best way to do this?

Dont think u can get them out in one piece. U can try gently twisting and pulling like teeth however you can buy new ones from parts express fairly cheep. I have some for my rta 12's but im sure they are a different size. Or ide sent u some. But call polk and get tje right size or maybe someone here will know the right size and order them .

Thanks soundfreak1, I'll see if someone will chime in as to what size I need. I was hoping the were a uniform size.

I'm not sure on your speakers,if you can get a measurement on one of the old ones go from that.If not there's the magnet set.

my cs300 center needed them I used a piece of hardwood dowel I checked if they snapped in after that I pushed them in to a correct depth and with a blob of exoxy on them Ipushed the frame in place on the speaker , next day I carefully pulled the grill up with the new pin now attached and put a bigger blob of glue on to fix the area , a touch of black paint and its perfect .
