How much is a pair of Polk Monitor S8 worth?

The S8 has got to be one of Polk's most underrated speakers and is probably the sweet spot of the S-series. The S6 is also very good with a little less in the bass department, while the S10 can be a bit much in the bass for some. I have a pair of S8's and there is something very pleasant about listening to them. They have a nicely balanced, full sound and image very well. I have compared them to my Monitor 5B and, while I like the 5B, the S8 is more enjoyable.

I was going to sell the S8's just because I have too many speakers sitting around but now my son has taken a liking to them and is begging me not to sell.
