I was thinking these grills would be very easy to make. I was looking at the ones on my 10B's, get one that you can take the speaker cloth off of and trace it out on a piece of 3/8 inch plywood, or a dense partical board and you could cut it out with a sabre saw and bevel the edges with a router. What could be done here is a sticky with line drawings of the grill frames for all of the vintage Polk speakers so a person could fabricate his own. With the line drawings mock up the frame in card board and use it as a template. The black speaker cloth is available and the Polk audio badge can be purchased from Polk. You would end up with a speaker grill that is actually better then the OEM one. I wonder if Polk has the drawings for these grills that could be posted here? hmmm.

Thanks. that was an informative video. I have a feeling I may have to build my own grills.

First off is JoAnns Fabrics which is a local company here on the west coast carries speaker cloth that is darn near egual to the Polks Fabrics. Also never Staple from one end to the other. Always start in the middle, the weave will wind up straighter.
