I see you've been to "Kabukistan"! Where are the rest of your drivers?

When these were made, just about all Japanese consumer audio corps (Pioneer, Kenwood, Sansui, etc) made some speakers that looked just like them. They were BIG, didn't weigh enough for their size, had diminutive magnetic assemblies for giant speakers, and could not handle too much power! Mostly sounding like a cheap sloppy bookshelf that could, if pressed, move a lot of air but not produce a lot of low frequency punch!

Don't know that model..but it's generic. Replace the missing drivers and get them in your garage!

i almost made a 70-80 mile trip myself to portland maine to get some big 3-4ft tall sony's. they were 2 units to each speaker. thought they looked vintage. thought they looked kick ass. i see there still for sale 3 weeks later....it all depends what you want. if you like them. your all good. its all about your what like....i got on CP and asked before i drove and bought them. i ended up sleeping in and enjoying a relaxing day

Ive had ssf5000 and 6000?? Or close to that model number but nvr 1000 lol. For the money my sonys were very nice. Bit boomy but perfect gaming or party speakers. Those above remind me of the oldschool kenwoods (huge) but weighed about 10 pounds lol
