I can beat it by $5, on what is probably the same TV:

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...321&CatId=3654

    Free shipping.

You do know that, normally when you do a raffle for a charity, you can find a local company to donate the item to be raffled, right?

    RT-12, CS350-LS, PSW-300, Infinity Overture 1, Monoprice RC-65i
Adcom GFA-545II, GFA-6000, Outlaw Audio 990, Netgear NeoTV
    Denon DCM-460, DMD-1000, Sony BDP-360, Bravia KDL-40Z4100/S
    Monster AVL-300, HTS-2500 MKII

That's true. Contact some stores in your area and tell them what you are planning to do. I'd bet one or more will offer up a TV for free or at a heavy discount. The rent-to own places are usually the best bet,i.e. Rent-a-Center or Aaron's.They will look at it as inexpensive advertising. Some will actually do it because they believe in your charitable cause.

Same tv. Thanks anyway. We're not officially sanctioned by cancer society for this event, so i never thought of asking for donations. Its just something we do every year to help out.

You can also strike a deal with the donating store to be a primary sponsor of the event. Good will pub is always high on a marketers list.
Do you hear that buzzing noise?
