Which CoD to get?

After the decline of the PS2, I'm really just getting back into console gaming with my PS3. I've never been a fan (nor a hater) of the CoD series, but it's so popular I'm looking to pick up one of the games so I can play online with friends. I'm definitely looking to go used and save some money, hence why I'm not going to wait for Black Ops 2.

Which CoD game would you recommend for someone just trying out the series for the MP? Black Ops? MW3?

My favorite was Black Ops but you should get the MW3 because it'll have more online players.

Thanks for the input! If I can find them cheap enough, I might go for both, because the whole zombie thing with Black Ops sounds really intriguing to me.

black ops will teach you the game and force you to get better. But being a new player, MW3 seems to be geared towards helping the new people with how they have everything set up. I'd probably recommend getting MW3 to learn on and BO to get better.

I ended up buying both used on ebay. If they ever get here, I'll be enjoying both! It was actually my first ever ebay transaction, so that was kind of exciting, too.
