I am considering doing the mod with the db840's, but then I saw this and wondered if the mm's could even be better than what people are reporting with the db's.

I don't know if they are compatible or even fit, but the specs looked a little 'stronger' so I just thought I'd ask.

Someone used one of them for their lsis and liked it. Personally since the Polk engineers suggested the db840 sub I went with their recommendation plus it's cheaper

Sealed Box Volume: Polk recommends using this woofer in a sealed enclosure; the ideal internal volume is 0.35 cubic feet.
With a QTS of .6, I would not recommend using it in a ported enclosure.

Sounds good. I am ever so close to pulling the trigger on the db's, but just wanted to check before doing so.

    Thanks
