Cool Using Different Brand for Surrounds?

    I currently have this setup:
    -Polk LSi15's for Fronts
-Polk CS2 (soon to get LSIc) for center
    -Polk OWM3 for surrounds
-Energy EF-500 Towers for Surround backs

Now I'm thinking of going two different directions. My first option is this:
-Getting Polk LSiFX's for surrounds and moving OWM3's to Surround Backs

    2nd option:
-Getting Energy RVSS-B-1 dipole speakers for surrounds and keeping Energy Towers as rear surrounds. Here's the link to those dipole energy speakers.

they look like older energy speakers, but I heard from other forums that the older Energy speakers are better than their newer stuff...if not then their newer dipole speakers can be had for $400 per pair.

Anyway if I went the energy route would my speakers sound weird as a whole if they mismatched (fronts vs rears)? I had the Energy Take classic before upheaving my whole home theater system and I really liked them, so I'm pretty high on Energy which is why I'm considering this speaker set. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Option 1 would be my choice. I'm not a fan of tower speakers anywhere other than in the front. I'm from the school that thinks surround/rear speakers should be elevated a few feet above ear height at the listening position.

Usually, matching surrounds isn't much of an issue for HT. If you want to save $$, put FXiA4 or 6 back there.
