Default new polk MW6510 replacement driver (RD6519-1)

stan asked me to post some pics of the new driver for my RTA11ts when i received it from Polk.... so, here we are.

dropped it in today and so far, so good. i haven't had a huge block of time to listen, but first impressions are good. it isn't sounding like a car horn in the midst of everything else going on...

Be careful with the rubber surround. If you don't carefully trim at the holes and tighten a screw down it can and will tear

Perhaps Polk CS should start including a note regarding trimming the surround before installing.

Ditto on the trimming !!!!!!!! I was warned and I thought I had done enough but I had not. The surround at one mounting point was becoming deformed because of the pressure from the mounting screw. I work at a hospital and obtained several of the small size 15 scalpels with these I was successful in getting the rubber trimmed up. The silicone rubber is very tough and it took a ultra sharp blade to trim it.
For "A" holes to appear as if by magic mention Speaker wire and interconnects, For a jihad say
"zip-cord". But for Utter annihilation mention psychoacoustics.

For the record, it's butyl rubber.
