Let us give thanks to all of our Veterans who have served in the armed forces. The price of freedom is not free. Many servicemen paid the ultimate price and many others continue to suffer today. You have my respect and a big thank you! God bless America!

Thanks brothers and sisters for the ultimate sacrifice. I served, but saw no action. Can't imagine what ugly sh#t our soldiers have seen recently.

My Grandfather retired a Brigadier General (Army).
37 years of service (3 wars), and I think of him every year on Memorial Day!
Retired 45th Infantry Division.
My hero my whole life (passed in '86).
The stories I have heard from him, has drove my passion for WW2 history.
Not to mention Korea and Vietnam (He was a full bird in VN).
I would say they don't make them like that anymore, but the US still makes em like that!
That says alot!

Amen to all the above, thank a veteran next time you see one. Better yet, have your kids thank them too.
Why are we confusing Veteran's Day with Memorial Day? You're going to have a tough time "thanking" any of the people we are supposed to remember on Memorial Day.
The government messed the thing up in 1971 when Memorial Day was changed from 30 May (my sister's birthday) to the last Monday in May. Now all it represents to most is a three day weekend which is the un-official start of summer. Whoop-de-do.
Thank all the Vets and all the nice people here who support the Armed Forces.
