Audyssey XT32 Subwoofer Sweep

I finally got my Integra DHC 80.3 today. I correctly set it for 2 subs ( I'm using
four subs, 2 on each sub output) and began running the full MultiEQ XT32 setup. I calibrated each set to 75 db as directed and began the sweeps. On the first sweep, Audyssey pinged both sets of subs but only pinged the first set on the remaining 7 sweeps. Is this right? Doesn't seem so. Any ideas?

Re check your settings , that doesn't seem right. I've set up many Integra Pre's and Receivers with dual sub outs and it tests both subs each time.
Make sure you are connected to the internet and do a software update.

Thats the first thing I did - the software update that is. Internet connection went without a hitch.

I should be doing one next week , I'll report back on my findings. I don't remember it not testing both subs each sweep , I would have noticed that. In theory it has to test all channels or how could it accuracy eq the room?

I figured it out. I was mistaken. I thought it pinged the subs separately. It pings all at once. :)

I have been listening and I think I prefer Audyssey off. Not sure yet.

You prefer the pre with xt32 off or just the subs?

With XT32 off. It's a tad bright to me I think. Not sure. Still undergoing extensive scientific testing. :p My subs sound good either way but they have about 6db more under 20hz without the EQ for some reason.

The 80.3 has the ability to test each sub separately. It's one of the features I love about Integra.

Well after much harassment over at Ask Audyssey it finally came down to a bad mic. Luckily I still had the old one lying
around and now it sounds fan -bleepin'-tastic. Now I can finally hear what everyone was blathering about. At least for movies
so far....

Thats good that its all sorted out and I must say your impressions had me shocked regarding such a highly praised room correction system. I hope you enjoy it and its cures the upgrade bug for a couple of years

I know! I was insanely disappointed after all the glowing reports and the $2500 processor. I am glad it's fixed. Having said that....I am not so sure about the Dynamic EQ...will probably leave that off.

It's a badass preamp and I really like everything about it. I'm eagerly waiting on the 80.4 which should hit the store anytime now.

This thing is really breaking in. Sounds very sweet. I am now a believer :D
