"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass

I can upgrade the 7s... you can email me Vr3Mods@gmail.com to go further on those!
I would probably still stack them and do point to point wiring - why not right? :)
Excellent job on those LSi9 crossovers. I love the use of the all-thread to keep everything clean and orderly.
Sweet taters those look good!
Wish I could get my hands to move that fast
Looks nice. Those for a customer or for your personal evaluation?
Thank you sir!
These were for a customer!
We are constantly trying to fit nicer stuff on our Fortress stack! I think after seeing the 400v MR we may try sticking them on there every once and a while! :)
Those look great! I think I have finally figured a layout to work the ESA into my tweeter circuit and make it all fit through without making them even taller.
No...not doing the LF that way. Just going to do a bennic with an ESA by-bass similar to your pictures. I looked at DarkNight's mod where he did a replacement, but did not want to spend that kind of money at this time. And I still am not a fan of the LSiC so I grabbed some LSiM703/706c to try so not even sure why I am doing this, other than I had already started the process and it should be a fun project. Not looking forward to stuffing something into the LSiC space....that is small. I was leaning towards the LSiM due to the 8 ohm rating and an AVR configuration, but I am seeing some other threads questioning the 8 ohm AVR friendliness of the LSiM line. I have the Fortress 9's hooked up to a NAD 2600 and they sound great. Hope to get these 9's modded over the next 2 weeks and see how things go from there.

The ESA would definitely be external with the 260 - that would be probably 3"x3"x7" of just caps!
Make sure you post pics of the ESA mod, it will be nice for sure!
