Default Having trouble hooking up my PSWi-8m

I just recently bought the PSWi-8m wireless subwoofer off of woot.com and i am having trouble hooking it up to my Denon AVR-1312 receiver, the receiver has a subwoofer port in the back and was told that i could just insert a single rca(the red end) from the transmitter to the subwoofer to get it too work. This hasnt worked and i was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on getting it to work.

    Hi Jessy,
Welcome to Polk's forum, sorry you're having a problem. The necessary connection is between the wireless transmitter and the receiver, not the transmitter and the subwoofer. The transmitter is connected to the sub out of the receiver via the single RCA cable. You might have to go into the receiver's setup menu and turn the sub out function on. Then all the sub needs is to be plugged into the AC for power.
    Regards, Ken
