    Default Monitor 12 tweeter question

Hello all. I recently picked up a pair of monitor 12 speakers and I've been listening to them paired to my Pioneer SX-D7000. I've noticed that sometimes I get a scratchiness that I think is coming from the tweeters. Sometimes I don't hear it and then on another song it becomes very pronounced. Is this a common problem with the sl2500 tweeters? Would replacing them with the RDO-198 tweeters eliminate this scratchiness? Thanks in advance.

asp69, IF you have SL2500's then yes the RDO-198's are the upgrade tweeter.

As far as your 'scratchiness', is it coming from one tweeter or both?
If only one, you might try swapping them and see if the noise follows the tweeter or stays with the speaker.
