    Mine is more focused on games but I do use it for music too.
    Im at the last stages of a rebuild so I havent decided if im going to stay with the onboard or go back to x-fi or a newer sound blaster card.
    I could also skip the sound card and stick to the USB Music Streamer II Dac for music.

    for Audio im using a Rotel Pre and Amp and some Free Bose speakers with a Sunfire Sub.

    IMO, ASUS's Xonar cards are a better alternative to X-Fi.
