The Yamaha vertical tasting is getting there (still a couple of imposters on the rack - need more spare time...).

Now... here's something you won't see everyday: a late-1960s ss Onkyo receiver with built in "triamp" - designed for a matching three way speaker system, of course :-P

Sony STR-6055. A bit battered but functional; rescued from the abyss.

The vintage Sonys are still a bit under the radar... not the greatest ss receivers ever made... but the tuners in 'em are better than average. This particular model (early 1970s) weighs a ton.

did I ever post this scan? (I am too lazy to look)

I probably did - but this is a nice family portrait of some pretty darned good but rather seldom-seen 1970s soiled state equipment.

I have this little Sherwood (7120) hooked to some Celestions in my exercise room. A low power unit, but very "sweet" with a superb tuner.

I don't know if these are any good or not yet, I just got home with them a few minutes ago. I bought them because of the really high efficiency. Thought I'd give them a try with the tube amp.

Coral speakers (and drivers) ran the gamut from very fine to very meh. Here's hoping you found some of the fine ones :-)

Some info on Coral speakers here:
    http://www.audio-heritage.jp/CORAL/speaker/index.html

...and this page shows the drivers that Coral was - and still is - noted for...
