Default SDA Custom Circuit Boards Round 2 - Anyone Interested?

Here's the deal I'm thinking of having another batch made but I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of boards that could take a very long time to sell if at all, I'm thinking at least 20 sets to make it worth while for everyone. I would like to keep price the same at a $100.00 a set delivered. Here's a link to the support site with all the info for the boards www.gimpod.com.

Please only post here if your serious about getting a set of boards, With that being said I understand that life happens and you may not be able to commit to buying a set when they become available.

    Thank You ~ gimpod

I'll take at least one set of every model you create one for. They will go into the Polk archives at HQ.

I'll buy a set for my SDA SRS 1.2TL 1989 vintage speakers, I bought 23 years ago. A love affair I've had with them, the first time I heard and saw them. I think its time for a face lift, I'm looking for New Speaker Covers if any one has a lead as to where I might buy some? Also a new gasket and machine screw kit? Any and all leads are most welcomed! I'm looking forward to elevating the sound quality with these new boards, with the much higher sound quality capacitors and resistors available today.

Mark I all ready sent you a set that you dropped off at Polk HQ for them to look at and play with. The same board can be used for any of the SDA Pin / Blade single board crossovers, CRS+, SDA 2B, SDA 1C, SDA SRS 2 (p/b), SRS SDA 3.1TL, SRS SDA 2.3, SRS SDA 2.3TL, SRS SDA 1.2, SRS SDA 1.2TL.

Afraid not as I don't own any of the early Blade/Blade SDA's. I would love to but the crossovers are so different between the models that they would have to be a one off design for each model and that gets really expensive.

I would love to do boards for the SDA 1, SDA 1A, SDA 1B, SDA 2, SDA 2A, SDA SRS, SDA SRS 2 (b/B), CRS and CRS+ (b/B) but that could be at least 7 different designs.

I know dude, I'm not retarded, my point is that I'll make sure we have a stock of them at Polk if it gets you to make another round. I'd like to have a couple sets for myself as well.

There are a lot of SDA's still out there. When a pair comes along, there's going to be a lot of people wishing they had got a set of these boards when they were available.

But who wants all that money sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to come along and want a set?

LOL!! I do but those items I plan on keeping for now. If I was putting up the money to make these boards I would want to make sure they will sell. I have two extra sets of these boards in my closet for a rainy day + if they go away as they did then sometime time down the road I won't be wishing I had a set.

I count roughly 20 sets of two, depending on how many Mark takes. That's 40 pieces!

Tony, how many orders do you need for this to be feasible?
