    Looks like they've invested a ton of money and resources to doing this up right. 1 month to go...i'm all over this one from day one!

    This is a MUST for me. Possibly one of my top ten movies of all time!

    I threw this in the Blu Ray player yesterday and gave it whirl.

    If you do not own this Blu Ray yet...BUY IT! They did an amazing job all the way around with this and it's a must own!

    PQ and SQ are top notch. Dialog is localized mainly to the center channel. John Williams perfect score is mixed beautifully into the left and right mains. I didn't notice much in the way of surround usage, just enough to add a little dimension to the outdoor scenes like the beach and out in the ocean.

    Play close attention to how Quint's nails sound as he drags them down the chalkboard. HAHA! Wanna make people squirm in their seats...turn that scene up LOUD!

    How does the Blu-ray handle the high resolution shark scenes. That shark looks fake even on DVDs?

    It's still gonna look fake, just crisper. Spielberg did not alter the film in any way using CGI. The quality of the Blu Ray is so darn good and the movie so brilliant, what amounts to a few moments in the film with the shark looking fake are overlooked.

    Oh, the Blu Ray comes with a digital copy for iTunes that plays in standard or Hi Def, depending on what device you're watching it on.

    Just buy it!

    I'm glad for this fact, it's annoying when updated movies throw in CGI. (AHEM Lucas...) Just makes it feel disjointed and distracts from the flow of the movie more than the original anyway.
