I had a Onkyo TX-SR606 with 90 watts/channel and I now have a Onkyo TX-NR708 with 110 watts/channel. Why is it that at normal listening levels on the 606, the volume was at 45. On the 708, the volume is at 60 in order to get the same level. I understand that there is not that much differrence between 90 watts and 110 watts. Still shouldn't the volume level on the 708 be lower and still get the same volume level of the 606.

In addition, lets say that I now add a 200 watt x 3 amp to the 708. Should the volume level be even lower and get the same audio level.

And lastly, If you own a 708, what level do you listen to yours at for movies.
