    Default Quality Record Pressing

I'm sure a lot, if not all of the Vinyl lovers here are aware of a company that goes by Quality Record Pressing. I thought this might be of interest to those who haven't. I had only heard of them and that they were located in Salina, Kansas.

Quite a story about one mans passion for Quality Recordings.

Open the Projects tab and on to Upcoming Titles, you can tell the owner is a Blues man.

    Hey Mike!

I have a few Quality pressings including "Tea for the Tillerman" and a few Analogue productions. I am impressed with their quality. Good stuff for sure!

Hey Carl, If I had a vinyl front end, Tea for the Tillerman would be one of my first purchases. I still have the original version, somewhere around here.

Prices look like they can be pretty reasonable also. Looking forward to trying out a few, especially some of the blues . I noticed they had Vol. 8 of the Johnny Winter Archive Series on vinyl. I have a couple of the early volumes on CD, really good stuff, very good recording quality of choice live shows from the past. Quality Pressings should be excellent on vinyl.

I've got the Shelby Lynn "Just a Little Lovin" where she does covers of Dusty Sprinfield hits.

Also, if you like Norah Jones "Come Away with Me". The Quality pressing is better than the Classic Records 200g release. Although I think the 45 RPM Classic Clarity vinyl is better yet.

I also have Ten Year's After "A Space in Time" from Quality which is excellent!!

I pre-ordered the 45 RPM Quality release of Counting Crows "August and Everything After". Can you believe this album is 20 years old!!!!!

I recently acquired Jimi Hendrix's Hendrix in the West and it's absolutely great. It's remastered and they added a few more songs to it.

I just received The Doors - Morrison Hotel and Norah Jones - Come Away with Me both Analog Productions/Quality Record Pressings and out of my meager vinyl collection, I was extremely impressed. Since they use a decent inner sleeve, I had no surface scratches and the vinyl was static free. Out of the 180G/200G "Audiophile" pressings I have, they are definitely the best. My only complaint was a slightly off-center spindle hole on one of the Doors LPs. I will definitely be buying more from this duo.

I like the old Church that the owner has turned into a recording studio, pretty cool stuff. I think they just had a Blues Fest. there not so long ago also.
