    Default Is anyone running the Denon AVP-8000?

    Just wondered how it holds up to the newer Pre/pros. From the looks of the reviews it's 2 channel music is impressive. Does 5.1 post-processing mean that you have to decode in your dvd player?

    I have an AVP-8000 & I think it sounds great. It has various toslink & digital coaxial inputs for digital decoding in the receiver. I am not familiar with newer equipment to make a comparison.
