    Thumbs up Great mix

I haven't seen T3 yet but I do have the Lion King and the Disney 5.1 mix is of the chain. I dont know of another movie that has so much surround use as this one. A MUST own.

T3 does not have a home theater mix per se. There is only one DD selection, whereas LK actually has two DD, one specifically for HT.

I will admit the T3 DVD cover does say something about maximum impact for home theater, but this could be nothing more than another way of saying it is aggressively mixed, etc.

Both LK and T3 have killer soundtracks.
But don't take the whole """enhanced for HT""" sooo literal. Just a catch phrase to make the "HT challened" ask questions. Really......
The LK WAS a revamp from the original. It was kicked up a couple notchers. It was out before Doldy Digital HT was even available. Therfore it would not have stood up to todays HT buffs standards.
As for as T3 goes it is just plain standard DD 5.1 - nothing "extra" was added. Just ended up being a great soundtrack but the movie itself would have called for nothing less.
PS3 and HD Front Projection, life is good. Too bad Blu-Ray and the PS3 are already obsolete.....

The Laserdisc I own Has amazing sound to think they improved on it because it lacked in anyway is wrong...If I recall correctly The Lion King laserdisc was one of the first "public" products in history to contain a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack and the detail & lowend power it had at the time can beat many 5.1 dvd soundtracks today
