Not sure it will matter. The zombies will come prior to use being up to our eyeballs in used kcups. :)

BTW the wife uses the ecocup and I use the starbucks kcups.

Well I went to Costco several weeks ago and they had the Platinum on Sale for $129.99 and I had to buy it. It came with the "My K-Cup" filter so that you can use bagged coffee and 60 K-Cups. It was a very good deal.

Maybe I should sell the old one I had?

Did you guys see Keurig's new machine?

Ahem, Tony et al. ............all plastic relegated to a landfill and thereby rendered irretrievable, is forever made unavailable for recycling and just means that much less plastics are available to be used daily in the manufacture of- electronics-automobiles-liquor bottles-digital media-guitars-on and on. This will require virgin petroleum in order to manufacture new plastics that I'd much rather have at hand for use in internal combustion engines and my furnace

The Rivo System looks awesome. If I didn't have 2 single cup machines , I would get this when it hits the stores. I might have to check it out anyway.

A few million kcups the size of a pebble isn't going to turn the recycling industry on it's ear.....or the planet for that matter.

BTW, that Cuisinart is a refurb for 99 bucks. Retail is 399 it appears.

Somewhat bigger than a pebble and that's billions. (with a "b") I'm gonna' guess that in this case "refurb" means unused and reboxed after a return, sorta like Polks from the ebay store.

Made two Cappuccinos so far, Very easy to do. it takes seconds to be ready to brew the coffee part and the froth takes 60 to 90 seconds.

I'll make a Video later and post it.

I just ordered 9 more boxes of "R" cups, they come with 18 servings per box (that was the most Keurig would let me order)

Here's a Video of my cup that I am enjoying right now!

If you're a member and have a Cosco near you Las, check out their prices on the big boxes of K cup coffees.

Wife got me/us one for my birthday yesterday. It's no nitty gritty (last year's b-day present!!)

She got the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System. Worked well on day one. Only tried it out so far with the sample cups that are included. She also got the reusable cup so we can grind our own coffee...which is probably what we'll do most of.

My French press (which said indestructable on the side) just broke so the timing is good. I'll probably get another French press, however, as I really enjoy that when I have the time.

But this machine seems like a nice unit and good for a quick cup.
Well, we've used our unit for awhile now, and I use the self ground attachment occasionally. I hate to say it because I am a perfectionist in so many other areas, but so far with this thing, I have mostly just used the regular k-cups. The convenience is amazing in this thing. I use the Green Mountain breakfast blend and it is a great cup.

The self ground attachment is good for the rare occasions that I have the time.

My only complaint so far is the 'largest' cup out of the three sizes offered is 10.5 ounces. Not quite big enough.
