Absolutely loved the BD. The trip down nostalgia lane was a huge plus, seeing the DB5 in action was great. Just a tip to whoever buys the movie, don't watch the extra features prior to watching the film, a spoiler is revealed.

I had a chance to watch it today and was very pleased with the video and audio quality. The scene when the train crashed caught me by surprise. It made me respect my subs.

My only criticism is that I had to buy a combo pack, instead of Blu Ray only. Minor, in the grand scheme of things.

I do recommend the James Bond 50 Years Blu Ray collection. They've done a great job with these classics in the Blu Ray format.

Watched it last night, loved it. Worth the buy. Bought the combo pack, gave the DVD to my daughter.

Well, good news. I did an update and now the Blu-ray disc plays.

Did anyone else get the impression this was the last of the rebooted Bond series? That's how it felt to me. Also, for whatever reason, at Skyfall I kept on thinking James Bond had a similar childhood to Bruce Wayne.

Shirley Bassey belting out "Goldfinger" after all these years. Still has the chops.

This was one awesome movie! I loved Casino Royal, but Quantum didn't really live up to the same standards as Casino. Then there was the downturn, and the fear of no more Bond. I think this put those rumors to bed.

Watched Skyfall last night on Blu Ray. Outstanding!!! This ranks with the very best Bond films ever. I hope Sam Mendes (director) comes back and does another.
I just read yesterday that Sam Mendes has other commitments for the next two years and will be unavailable to make the next Bond film.

Hopefully they will choose someone who will continue to build on what he has started.

It was more of the end result of the train fight that I didn't care too much for. I think someone should have died after being shot with a rifle, falling off of a train into a river (200ft-300ft?), unconsciously floating down a river, then sliding down a waterfall with no rescue. Considering realism is the direction they're pushing for, it seemed to be a bit excessive. If the trauma didn't kill him, he should have drowned. All my opinion of course.

A little more serious than the normal Bond movie, and it looks like it is an indication of what is to come.

Just watched this. My 2nd favorite Bond film next to Casino Royal.

    *Casino Royale

IMHO, it was better than Casino Royale. But definitely only a hair between the two.
My wife bought me the 50 years of Bond collection but I am still picking up the Daniel Craig bond films individually on Blu-Ray. Pretty sure he is my new favorite Bond and being Scottish, I think it may be heretical to say that. But I will always love the Connery Bond.

Purchased and watched it twice... Best of the newer Bond stuff for sure. There were many lessons taught but the bottom line was that old BMF spies can kick ass, but old women are basically a drag and can't handle even a minor gun shot wound. The villain was definitiely one of the better recent villains... IMHO Jason Statham would be a better Bond, as this guy starts to age, we need to think about the next replacement Bond. The audio DTS Master was one of the best I have heard.

Saw it... left me a bit meh. But I also think this movie was largely the finish of the Bond reboot, but I do kind of wonder where the franchise will go from here. Different takes on the original Bond books? I don't know.

I love James Bond but this one was a little lame. Same as all the hero movies these days. A hundred or more supposedly highly trained mercenaries can't hit anybody point blank with a machine gun yet the good guys get anyone they point at with one shot.

LOL... been saying the same for many years, lucky for the good guys that the bad guys are lousy shots, homemade guns? made in Asia?

Retiring to a remote manor with one 9mm pistol and an old woman to set up "Home Alone" booby traps while not utilizing the entire British Secret Service, Military or Police/Scotland Yard ? MORONIC !
