Default Polk LsiM 707 vs Kef Q 900

I can only speak on the Q900's...incredible in every aspect! I never had ears on the 707's.

I haven't heard the 707. The Q900 are great, but can be a little harsh in the treble at times.

^ I would say that depends on the gear!^ With an Emotiva amp they were a little harsh, but with my B&K amp,I can listen to them for hours, with no piercing feeling at all! With the emo,I couldnt do that! Fantastic speakers,in every aspect!!

I had the Q300's and they weren't harsh in the least bit. In fact, my only gripe about them was that they were to laid back which is weird because everyone seems to say the opposite about the uni-q drivers.

I find the Q100 laid back too, but the entire line doesn't use the same exact crossover. Which leads me to, the treble harshness in the Q900 could have been easily fixed in the crossover, but KEF cheaped out.

Treble harshness...hmmmm? You lost me on that one. Everyone's ears are different I guess.
